Case studies

None published yet. ABSORB is new, and the first applied cases will matter more than any further specification. A case where the framework got something wrong is as useful as one where it got it right.

Contributing a case

  1. Run the assessment with your team, ideally with two people scoring independently and comparing.
  2. Write a decision record with a prediction and save a snapshot.
  3. Make one change aimed at the constraint, then re-assess after 30, 60 or 90 days.
  4. Fill in the case study template and open a pull request or an issue.

The template asks for the goal, the stage timings, the scores with the evidence behind them, the change made, the metrics before and after, whether the constraint moved, and what the framework got wrong.

Anonymize first

Do not name an organization, product or person without written permission, and leave out internal figures that would identify the company. Have someone at the organization review the case before you share it.
